Growing up, I never felt I fit in.

My name, Kanika, means a tiny part of something big. For years, that's exactly how I felt: small.

So I chased the big things. Achievement, approval, the next milestone.

But one thing was always true. I was drawn to how businesses work, and how all the pieces fit together to make them grow.

I became an engineer, got an MBA and travelled the world working for global companies.

IESE Business School in Barcelona, where Kanika did her MBA.
Companies Kanika has worked for: ING, BHP, PwC, Telstra and Yara.

On paper, it all looked big. Inside, I still felt like that tiny part.

  1. 2009

I finished my MBA on a scholarship at IESE Business School, with an exchange at Darden.

  2. After my MBA

I learned first-hand what makes a business grow and what holds it back.

  3. February 2024

I started my own business and began teaching businesses how to bring in clients through LinkedIn.

  4. Today

I speak at events, train sales, marketing and leadership teams, and teach LinkedIn as a guest lecturer at Edith Cowan University and Curtin University.

My growing desire to help businesses grow became my own business.

In February 2024, I left my posh corporate role to start my own business.

It was daunting. At first, I posted every day and stayed busy, but I wasn't signing clients. Then a coach asked me how many real conversations I was having each week.

That's when it clicked. Growing a business isn't just about posting. The whole chain has to work, from the moment a prospect searches for you, to them getting interested in exactly what you provide, starting a conversation with you and signing up for your service.

It's a five-stage client attraction system called REACH, and every stage has to work.

Today, I train teams and business owners on REACH, so the right people find them, trust them and reach out ready to buy.

I've noticed this pattern with my clients over and over again. When LinkedIn isn't working, it's because you're only running one or two of the five stages that attract the right clients.

Here's how it should work.

  1. Drawing of a smiling woman at her laptop, with a LinkedIn profile visits chart climbing upwards and a magnifying glass beside it.
    R

    Reposition

You show up in more searches and get more profile visits.

  2. Drawing of a delighted woman holding her phone as likes, hearts and comments float up from her LinkedIn post.
    E

    Educate

The right people start engaging with your posts.

  3. Drawing of a woman and a man each looking at the other's LinkedIn profile, joined by a dotted line and a handshake icon.
    A

    Amplify

Your prospects start trusting you before you've even spoken.

  4. Drawing of a relaxed woman with a coffee, looking at a weekly calendar full of booked calls.
    C

    Converse

You have more conversations, and they naturally lead to booked calls.

  5. Drawing of a woman celebrating on a video call, with a paid invoice, gold coins and a rising sales chart on her desk.
    H

    Handshake

You close and collect on more of your sales calls.

I'm passionate about helping business owners create the ripple they set out to make.

I'm 100% invested in your business growth, because every business that grows creates a ripple of impact far bigger than anything I could create alone.

Over time, I've learned to love my name. A tiny part is where every ripple begins.

My passion is to create many of those ripples, so that more businesses and communities grow and prosper.

That's the ripple I want LinkedIn to start for your business.
